What is the Australasian Recycling Label?

The Australasian Recycling Label (ARL) is the simple way for small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to provide their customers with easy-to-understand packaging recycling instructions. The on-pack information helps your customers get the right packaging in the right bin, which reduces the harmful impact on the environment.

The evidence-based label clearly identifies if an item of packaging belongs in the general waste or the recycling bin, or if it can be recycled, provided the customer follows a simple instruction. It also provides customised instructions for all separable parts of the packaging, such as a jar and lid.

Hundreds of businesses are already using the ARL on their packaging.
